SOLAR PANEL
COMPARISON

See what makes our solar solutions the clear winner.

Renewables will transform the global power mix through 2027, becoming the largest source of electricity globally. Furthermore, renewables are the only electricity generation source whose share is expected to grow, with declining shares for coal, natural gas, nuclear and oil generation. Electricity from wind and solar PV more than doubles in the next five years, providing almost 20% of global power generation in 2027. - IEA

DID YOU KNOW

Solar panels are tested under lab conditions to measure their performance? These Standard Test Conditions (STC) are based on ideal conditions that are a far cry from the abuse panels are subjected to on a daily basis here in New England.

Standard Test Conditions Are:

  • Ambient temperature of 77°F (25°C)

  • Lighting that duplicates a perfect sunny and cloudless day at peak noon sunshine or in scientific terms, 1,000 watts per sq meter (1,000 W/²) of full solar noon sunshine

  • Seal level air mass equal to AM1.5

OUR SOLUTIONS ARE TOUGHER THAN NEW ENGLAND’S WEATHER

There’s a lot to consider when deciding what solar pv solution is best for you. At Spectrum Energy, we simplify that decision by offering only premium solar solutions that are tested and certified to stand the test of time and provide a better return on your investment.

Whether a Nor’Easter, blizzard, freezing rain, hail, hot and humid, or salty ocean air, you can rest comfortably knowing your system will continue to operate reliably and efficiently no matter what Mother Nature dishes out!
