We care about our planet and felt compelled to do more. We’re proud to be an official Reforestation Partner of One Tree Planted.
Healthy forests help absorb greenhouse gasses and carbon emissions that are caused by human civilization and contribute to global climate change. Without trees and plants, more carbon and greenhouse gasses enter the atmosphere. To make matters worse, trees actually become carbon sources when they are cut, burned, or otherwise removed.

At Spectrum Energy, we do things differently. Our goal is to help facilitate the transition from fossil fuels to clean renewable energy in the residential building sector. But that's only part of the story. We're also passionate about healing our planet and helping those in need. That’s why we created the Spectrum Energy Cares Program.
Our program centers on three main categories:
Preserving our planet through premium renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions.
Restoring our planet through global reforestation efforts.
Supporting families with pediatric cancer patients.

We are a proud official business partner of One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Vermont. One Tree Planted plants trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.

TREES ARE VITAL
Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, help cool the planet, and create jobs for social impact. This is what One Tree Planted calls the Six Pillars of Reforestation. Additionally, they work with a global network of partners who are knowledgeable about local ecology. They only plant local tree species, grown in nearby nurseries, and planted in conditions that are optimal for tree survival.
WHAT WE DONATE
For every solar pv system we install, we plant 100 trees on behalf of our client through our global sustainability partnership with One Tree Planted. These trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing, help cool the planet, and create jobs for social impact.
We also donate $100 to a Boston based hospital to help families with pediatric cancer patients by:
Identifying local, regional, and federal assistance programs.
Serving as patient/family advocates and as liaisons between the hospital and the resource community.
Providing direct and immediate support in some cases, including grocery gift cards, gift certificates to the local hospital food court, and gasoline cards.
